i was SSL for years..started on xanax about 4 years ago i think..maybe 5..  but especially now,  with the training changes a year or two ago, definitely the xanax route.

I agree with the sentiment you share. In the end it’s just a game, a way to pass time…but the friendships and irl meetups and dinners shared will not be forgotten. 

I appreciated reading all the comments…it certainly was educational.

I don’t really have an opinion apart from this

The benefit and beauty of torn was the ability to play and follow the path you the player decides, there is not a fixed way to “win”

For long time players like myself who have made decisions to be thoughtful in how/when we spend merits or reset them, or SSL rather than Xanax.  

I spent years choosing to work and unlock SsL and thankfully had given it up prior to the uncapping of gym trains but that is a similar situation…all that effort and sacrifice to have the benefit of SSL mitigated on a flippant decision seems contrary to the base idea of any path or gamestyle you like. 

TLDR: I don’t really care about the reset stack but I do care about how it seems a player who has made hard choices can just have that game style neutered.

2x now I have burned a large structure to 99% and without fail it refuses to go beyond until AFTER 30 secs.  I literally burned 99 nerve on one try. Thermite Gas relighting etc.  really aggravating 

only 1x large structure per day for me.

Similar story for me. Got to +60b in RR.  Currently -15b…yea was pretty disheartening and frankly I have no idea how I lost so many games in a row. But I did. Kudos for speaking up and owning your habit. I have self excluded from the casino for months at a time.
