Why the **** are hot foil stampers losable when they are a unique find?
I followed the forgery guide and started passports at 90CS and lost my stamper on my 3rd passport. Now if i want to do passports ever again i have to spend 12 mill. That's a huge loss and makes passports no where near worth it. If people actually did forgery consistently eventually there won't be any hotfoil stampers left.
I really think this is a poor balancing decision and ruins the profitability of forgery.
If this I'd how people are doing it it's a stupidly designed crime. There should be a fair and reasonable rate of progression that doesn't cause you to lose valuable (or even irreplaceable without buying someone elses) items.
According to maths that shows that passports are the best for CS gain after 90CS. It's in the forum guide for forgery. Considering how long forgery takes I thought I'd try and get to 100 as efficiently as possible.
If ched is indeed relaxing the logarithmic effect on skill gain as said in his comment this will be a good change. Hopefully he relaxes it to the point where it only takes 1-2 years of non stop racing to get to 100. The press pass should be a nice small bonus not the only way of getting there.
Passports are unlocked at 75. I started doing them 15 CS levels later. Imo I should be good enough not to lose the irreplaceable object without buying someone else's. If I were failing any of the other steps I'd understand.

I get that, but if the only way not to lose millions doing a crime is to only do the most basic one then the crime is poorly balanced. What's even the point of having the other objects?

I can only imagine what it is like having those billions of stats or perhaps a hundred billion NW. I don't even know how to spend or manage that kind of wealth.
Maybe let those players write the guides then, right?
