Would be nice to be able to loan items of mine to the faction instead of donating... I am mostly thinking of non-consumable items such as weapons (not temp) and armour. What are the chances of adding functionality that allows a member to loan items to faction which can then only be loaned out. Giving them to other members would be disabled for items on loan so that they can be easiliy recovered if and when the need arises in the future

Everyone on this planet share the same fundamental imperative for survival. Immigration happens because it is not possible to find work or improve the quality of life in their home country. Immigration does not happen because its enjoyable, it happens because it is the only option available.

They are often the poorest of the poor, living in less developed countries that offer very few opportunitites to earn more and/or improve their quality of life.  Many have family that need providing for, so with no means of doing this in their home country, It is not surprising that they look to other coutries for a better life.

Immigration needs to be managed but if you wont stop/reduce it happening by criminalising illegal immigrants or by making it harder to migrate legtitimately.  Unless the root cause is addressed, things will get worse and/or become more expensive & time consuming to police.  How much does each illegal cost their host country to process, detain & repatriate? Perhaps it would be more effective if the money was used to improve the quality of life and prospects available in the less developed countries.

Give people a reason to stay in their home nation, and the vast majority will stay put. Also feel compelled to point out that developed countries are well known for leeching wealth from those that are less developed. The profits/wealth help make richer countries, richer and the poorer ones, poorer. Why pay a fair wage to employees or pay tax on profits generated when you can get away with exploitation.

Empathy is a great thing to possess and I'm sure that we are all capable of it if we took the time to put ourselves in another persons situation. So I will ask the question... Is there anyone here who can honestly say that they would not resort to illegal immigration if they had no other way of ensuring the survival of themselves and their family?

I have a daughter and would not think twice about crossing borders illegally if I saw it as the only way for her to survive. When we are desperate, we do desperate things.

OMG... Lets just hope you dont become a politician.... I feel that I must point out that discussing if illigal immigrant should be shot, is not politics, its called extremism. If this topic is acceptable in this forum, then would you say the same if the debate was about whether or not its OK to shoot foreign nationals who visit countries such as Iraq, Syria & Afganistan.

If this was a discussion about the legitimacy of immirants and how to police immigration without resorting to violence then this thread would belong in the poiltics forum... But its not..... Since when has shooting ppl been considered politics?  This should be posted in a section for Ignorant Biggotry if there isnt one, then take it to mean that there is no place in here for promoting violence.

If you cant find a way to solve the words problems peacefully then, dont bother trying to solve then at all..

Anyone ever had their DNA checked for ethnic origin?  You would be surprised just how diverse origins can be. so diverse in fact, that some of us would not be living where we do if it were not for our distant relatives migrating many many years ago.

I would not have any complaints about having a conversation or even a open and frank debate about sensitive issues as long as they are not used as a platform for expressing hateful/derogatory views against any religion, race, ethnicity or nation state (country).

The more prejudice there is between different demographics the easier they become to maintain control over.  Prejudice keeps society segregated and mistrusting each other instead of collectively opposing/challenging things that are way more important.

I'm really not sure what the future holds for the human race but I do know that the Elite of society, select major corporation (e.g. mining, oil & gas, utilities, technology, legal etc)  & banking cartels are doing their best to create a world that benefits them, with little or no regard for the rest of society..... 

Anyhow, if you read my initial reply to the question being asked, you will see that I was not trying to goad anyone into a hostile debate.... I would have been a lot less problematic myself if Poppa had not chipped in with his lame ass comment about Violins....

So the way I saw things, I locked horns with certain folk because I disagreed with hating anyone.

I commented on your post referring to "The Jews" being able to kill people without repercussion. This is simply not true as these are events that relate to Israel, not the Jewish.  I was merely trying to highlight that you cannot blur the lines and lay blame on the Jewish for actions undertaken by Israelis in the middle east conflict.... If you had substituted Israelis for Jews then I would have had no reason to reply.

There is nothing “fitting” about this entire thread or any of your previous contributions to it, so why start now? Also I think you are confusing things again. I am not driven solely by virtues e.g morals. Nor am I driven by any religious beliefs as I would class myself as agnostic.

This is more about common sense and an understanding that hate & prejudice solve nothing. 

I am not in any position to judge or criticise the Middle East conflicts. It’s a proper mess which is akin to a blood feud with a history of conflict and oppression going back millennia. 

To to be honest, I would have preferred an actual reply instead of your attempt to sideline the question I was asking.

This thread is about anti-semitics, not anti-zionists. You cannot take the actions that Israel undertake at times of conflict and use them to blame all followers of the Jewish faith. 

That would be like saying that “The Christians can go about invading, threatening other countries whenever there is a threat to their safety”

Fact is.... Israel is a country which is surrounded by Arabic/Islamic countries. There is conflict and the Arabic neighbours and Israel are locked into “an eye for an eye” conflict which is driven by both territory and religion. 

Someone has to break the cycle and that’s never going to happen if prejudice and resentment are allowed to persist. 

In my opinion, the only ppl qualified to understand what is right from wrong would be those that are having to experience the conflict first hand. Any viewpoint from anyone else is always going to be based on perception rather than reality.

If you don’t like what is happening in Israel then your issue is with the Israelis and not the Jewish. If this is the case, then stop referring to “The Jews” when criticising Israel.  If there are other reasons why you have an issue with The Jewish, then what are they?

Failing to meet either criteria "obviously" means you end up looking very foolish. Did you actually research the disorder before making your claim or did you just "wing it" in the hope that your fail would  pass unnoticed. Whilst on my travels around the internet "irrationally" looking for information on the disorder, I discovered the concept of "Internalised Racism" I thought I would draw attention to a part of the article as it seems applicable.

You ppl are your own worst enemy. Your actions and motives are transparent, you have no interest in having legitimate debate. I have to chuckle at your implication as there is no evidence to back it up. Here is how I see things. Someone starts a post relating to anti-Semitism... Inevitably the topic of the holocaust is part of the debate.....  There is a difference of opinion between those who can relate to anti-Semitism and those that don't.  Then we have someone expressing sympathetic views towards the Nazi's so its no surprise that I asked them if they were a sympathizer. I did not say anything about anyone else and even posted a reply to you earlier that clearly stated that I was not calling you a Nazi... Feel free to go back through my posts and check your facts, you will not find anything from me, claiming anyone to be like Hitler, or even any reference to him.

I thought the purpose of this debate was to discuss the matter in question, voice your own point of view and challenge the views of others so why does it bother you when I do just that? Whilst I am horrified by the number of holocaust victims.
