I'm sure there is a great deal of people here that have completed all of their education courses. I think it would be cool to add another tier to the education. It could be titled something like Executive Education courses. The course could be centered around leadership and could provide additional benefits/specials to Factions and Companies. This would be a benefit for Faction Leaders and Co’s and also company directors only. Also the courses wouldn’t be cheap because of the gains you would get from having these skill sets and the courses would be long so it's something you would really want to obtain. Also, this wouldn't be unlocked until you have completed all of the education courses. Of course some of the things can be tweaked, but let me know your thoughts. I haven't worked out all the kinks yet, but the courses could be like:
Introduction to Executive Education: gain 50 Intel, 10 Man and 10 End upon completion ($10,000,000 start up, 3 weeks to complete)
Communicating for Success: gain 50 Intel, $20,000 discount on advertising in Torn City Times, 1% boost in company advertising ($15,000,000 start up, 5 weeks to complete)
Conflict Resolution: gain 50 Man, 2 free automatic 1 day peace treaties if you are faction leader or co-leader, small boost to runaway option during fight ($15,000,000 start up, 5 weeks to complete)

I also have an idea that you can get a Master's degree, but essentially you would only be able to choose one master's degree and gain the benefits from that degree. So it would be like a Doctorate, Lawyer, Scientist, Engineer, etc... I have further details if interested.
8 Ladies Strip club looking for new employees. Was 10 but dropped 2 levels due to inactive players. Looking to replace these players asap. Good company specials:
Looking to potentially sell my 10* LS. Consistently 10* and in the top 10-15 companies. Loyal, tax paying workers with high EE. Also able to sell trains. This is a great company.
If Directors want to be stupid and up their budgets to $30 mil all to make $1-$3 mil more in sales, then let them. No need for everyone to try and follow the trend to be the #1 top selling LS. As long as mine stays 10 star then I'm perfectly content. What's going to happen is, they are going to keep raising their ad budgets and then trying to charge their employees to help cover these budgets, and then the employees will leave. A $30 mil ad budget per day would cost them $210 mil per week. In order for them to cover that, they will need to charge their employees 21 mil in taxes. There aren't too many employees that are going to be willing to pay that. Some people are already losing employees charging them 15 mil. They will eventually bleed out, just weather the storm
I'm going to do what it takes to maintain my 10 star. Unless they have changed the earning mark that you need to make weekly in order to stay 10 star. So if people want to push for 125K sales and making 4 mil daily, then that's on them. It won't be sustainable in my eyes. They are going to have to push for $25 mil plus advertising budgets, so to do that for 7 days would be $175 mil. If they are earning say $30 mil per week from their company sales, that still leaves $145 mil they need to make up. So then what they are going to have to do is raise their tax by $15 mil just to make a slight profit. Doing that will run workers off. I've already had people from other companies approach me asking if I had space because they are getting hammered on taxes. These companies are going to kill themselves in the long run.
There are more mechanics into a company doing great besides putting all your money into advertising. You can have a $50 mil ad budget, with crap workers and still won't sell more products. I'm sure there are also sales caps set in place as well. I don't think they would increase storage capacity without putting sales caps in place, otherwise they wouldn't have wasted their time changing it,
There can easily be a cap in place to make sure that there is a set maximum number of product that can be sold in one day so that 100k/day sales can't be reached. I think it's a terrible excuse to say that people will then sell 100k a day if you increase storage to 200k. Cap max sales of products at 55k/day and that automatically solves the issue and makes bigger storage more effective.
If you want companies to mimic real life, then make the companies life like. In real life a Lingerie Store wouldn't be getting a delivery of products everyday because they sold out. And no one saying being a faction leader was easy. It's a lot of hard work for sure. That's why factions have more members than leaders lol
Either way something needs to be done then, because you still have companies at 8-9* that's stuck and no matter what they do they are unable to star up. Either way the system is broken. People act like it's not hard to miss a stock day. When my faction is in Ranked Wars it's very easy to miss a stock day, especially when you are seeing constant hospitalizations. And let me not even get started on real life events. I'm not going to be on Torn 24/7. I understand some people can do that, but with a wife, 2 kids, and a good job, that's just not going to happen
A system can always be created to ensure that 9* are able to become 10* as well. Could easily say bottom 5 -10* drop and top 5 -9* stars rise up. Also, put an agreeable cap on the advertising budget so that you can't just go out and put 50 mil on your advert budget in order to secure major sales. There are also other factors that can cause companies to not do well other than the advertising budget. Inactivity and drug use are also 2 major killers of companies as well. I've literally lost a star because of both reasons, plus lets not forget about the employee that ups and leaves without warning and now you are stuck replacing with a lower stat player until you can find a suitable replacement.
Your argument on this is flawed in many instances.
1.Lingerie products are not a perishable good, so there should be no need to have to order products every day. Victoria's Secrets doesn't have a delivery truck coming to them everyday to drop off bras and panties.
2. With a max of 250K products it would be impossible to get 125K worth of products sold daily. Just because you lower your prices an insane amount doesn't mean you will sell more and make more. I tried to do that when I first started and I actually didn't get more customers, ended up getting less. Only way it would work is if every company decided to lower their prices to an extreme amount. Theirs a suggested retail price for a reason. Trying to go way below that will screw you.
3. Just because you log on every day, doesn't mean you will always log on during the time when you are able to buy stocks. People are playing all across the world and real life situations do happen. I'm not going to log on to Torn during a family emergency just to make sure my LS stocks are filled. I've had instances where I've literally logged on to fill stock and placed 1 wrong number and my order didn't go through. I was in a hurry and so I didn't check. It's not like a huge warning comes up to let you know that you tried to order 100,001 items instead of 100,000. So in my haste I thought I ordered stock, only to realize that I didn't.
Even if they won't raise stock to say 250.000 I think there still needs to be some sort of buffer just incase you have a situation of missed stock. Maybe make it 150,000 stocks, that way it still gives you the potential for the extra 1 day buffer.
