So I had the criminality branch unlocked, crimes 8, and nerve 2.
I wanted to see what would happen if I unset one, and then figured out that I could just undo the unsetting easily. So then I wanted to see if multiple would unset at once, and I set the whole branch to unset...
That was apparently a mistake. It's been 100 hours, the criminality branch is gone from the faction upgrade page but my home page still lists crimes 7 and nerve 1 as current personal perks, and the faction upgrades thing says we have -3k respect available. I can't even see the specialization branches or unlock any. The upgrade tree looks as if we have no specialization pages unlocked, and I can't click to see them.
Is this intentional? Are you locked into an unset after a certain period? Do upgrades only come off one at a time, every hundred hours? How do I undo this? Does unsetting lose your respect, even though the announcements about it never said so?
I guess my co-leader must have been inactive too. 30 days seems a tad ridiculous. This must be new, because I've definitely been inactive longer than that before and haven't lost my faction.
And I'm not about to swap out- we're a group of friends IRL, and we're mostly in it for the merits (I've been in this faction for 1998 days so far).
Guess I'll have to remember to log on once a month, but that's really annoying. Of course, that's assuming I get control of the faction back.
You'd think there would be an event or something, but NOPE, lol.
Seriously, I'm the faction leader (until recently, I guess), and then out of nowhere our faction news board says "Lt_Huber has taken over control of the faction."
WTF, I did NOT give him control of the faction.
He has no idea what's going on either, he says.
Is this new? Why isn't this in the announcements somewhere? Why is this happening?
What is the difference between the various temporary items? The descriptions aren't very informative about how they actually affect the outcome of a battle.
Is it worth even spending your attack on using these items?
