I just did the Hide and Seek mission (Hard), and I was assigned 4 targets; one of them had been inactive for only 4 hours (117313). I did not defeat the person, but I still was able to complete the mission ( I was able to defeat the other 3).
I just thought it was weird that I was assigned a person that was still active in game, lost, and still was able to complete the mission. I would not have picked this player had I not been assigned; I saw an earlier thread where the person said he was assigned the ID but records showed otherwise.
I like this idea. It is good that you have found a way to positively reinforce faction chaining participation. Too many factions treat members like trash, where if you miss or underperform in a single chain you are tossed out. We can't all live in Torn 24/7. With your system, members who care enough can see where they stand and how they can do more to get more points and therefore be more productive.
If the faction is tight-knit, I think what will happen long term is once members get their own methods of supplying Xanax, they will donate a portion of their points to the faction, or even donate money or Xanax. They will be glad to help. Of course there will be those who take and not want to give, but that would happen with or without the system.
