It was a dark and spooky Torn Halloween night.
The event was chaos — ghosts, pumpkins, random attacks flying left and right.
Everyone knew the rules: it’s Halloween, you smack whoever you see, laugh, and move on.
Everyone… except Bracky.
You see, Bracky doesn’t play Torn — Torn plays for Bracky.
While most of us have jobs, friends, or functioning sleep schedules, Bracky has spent more hours on Torn than the United Nations has spent writing peace treaties.
(And fun fact, he’s broken more of them, too.)
So there I am, Gavin, minding my own business, enjoying the event, dressed like a radioactive pumpkin with a chainsaw. When I see one of Bracky’s faction members walking around with 100% health.
Naturally, I do what everyone does during the Halloween event, I bonk him over the head.
A friendly, festive assault.
The Torn equivalent of saying "Happy Halloween, mate!"
But no.
Somewhere in his digital cave, Bracky’s Bat-Signal went off.
He must’ve spat his Monster Energy across his keyboard, eyes glowing like a Level 100 NPC who’s just been mildly inconvenienced.
Within seconds * boom *
Notification.
“You were attacked by Bracky.”
Fair enough, I thought. A little retaliation.
All good fun, right?
Wrong.
This wasn’t retaliation.
This was war.
Apparently, Bracky had decided to unleash a national emergency response.
He hit me again.
And again.
And again.
Like some caffeine-fueled Terminator in a bandana.
I swear if Torn had a “Ceasefire” button, the United Nations would’ve been on the phone.
So I message him:
“Mate, chill, it’s the Halloween event. f**k off already.”
But Bracky doesn’t chill.
Bracky doesn’t rest.
Bracky grinds.
He’s the self-proclaimed Protector of the Perpetually Online.
The Warrior of Wi-Fi.
The Guardian of People Who Log In 18 Hours a Day.
According to legend, he once stayed awake so long during a war that Torn had to add the fatigue system just for him.
And God forbid a part-time player dares to have fun.
In Bracky’s mind, if you work a job, go outside, or take your dog for a walk, you’re a disgrace to Torn warfare.
He must cleanse the servers of your kind! one attack at a time!
So yeah. There we have it lol
Halloween event: ruined.
One innocent bonk on a faction mate turned into World War Bracky.
I imagine right now he’s sitting there, battle-worn and proud, whispering to himself:
“Another player down… Torn is safe again"
