I have a mission from Duke to attack someone with the leather gloves and kitchen knife. I have completed that part and I am trying to send the items to the dump.
I have unequipped both items (I have no items in the slots at all). And clicked on the item, chosen the trash option and when clicking on the Yes in the confirmation screen nothing happens. I have tried waiting to see if the load is slow and nothing happens, I have refreshed the page a couple times and still not able to trash these. When I select the No option the bar under the item where the options are goes away (something happens). I have tried equipping other items in those slots and I am still not able to trash the ones for the mission.
I have successfully trashed a piece of candy and a jacket to test if I am able to. The only difference is that both of these have a quantity option where the knife and gloves do not.
I had never reset my merits and I used a free reset a while back and now my reset counter says that my next merit reset is 500 points? I saw that the free one are not supposed to take the place of any of the other resets.
Sorry struggling to upload a pic. When I try to trash something with a quantity in the item box like drugs, candy, clothing, etc it looks like that. When I try to trash an item that does not stack weapons, armor, the amount box does not appear.

My first planned reset was when I finished my education because I had that maxed out. I don't remember ever using it before that. I played very infrequently for years and got merits for marriage and a few other time based ones and didn't assign them for quite a while so I had no reason to reset before my school was done .

I have a question about this, I received the free merit reset and I was going to use it but it says the next reset that I have available will cost 500 points. I have never reset my merits before so shouldn't my next reset be only 250?
I think that the free reset took the place of my 250 point reset. But this isn't very equal for all since I am sure there are people who have used their resets before and now have a test that is worth 500 or 1000 credits? Where mine is only worth 250.
I think it would make more sense if the free reset was added in addition to the usual reset cost, for example since I haven't used mine the costs would look like: free, 250, 500, etc
