Dual Samurai Swords are probably the best melee weapon. Same as other duals except you can get an extra 10% damage if you have the right History course.

Harewood is the neighbourhood I lived in when I created the account. My profile pic is a 19th century English aristocrat, Lord Harewood. At one time the Harewood family owned coal mines in Canada. The Harewood mines gave their name to the neighbourhood. After the mines closed decades ago the area became run down and notorious for drugs and crime. So I thought it was ironic to be the lord of a low class criminal neighbourhood as a Torn character.

It used to be that the computer would instantly buy your stocks. The price was influenced by demand. If you had enough money you could buy up stock increasing the price then sell for a profit. People did this over and over amassing large fortunes.
Working at a TV station is another way to raise your loan limit.

You will probably need to get to around one billion in stats to beat a level 100. If they are badly wounded and if you are using Vicodin maybe you could pull it off with 750 million.

Yes, they do let you accept money to attack tougher players and lose. This is called 'slutting'. Don't get ripped off though check in the forums for the going rate per attack and don't do a whole bunch expecting to be paid later. Not everyone is honest and this being a crime game they are allowed to scam you.
You need to stay active. Use all your energy and nerve. Keep shoplifting jackets. Do a few thousand. Concentrate on using the gym to improve your stats. You should buy some cheap stuff at bits and bobs then sell it for a profit each day. Try attacking and losing against rich players in return for money. There is a thread in forums for this activity known as 'slutting'. Use some drugs. Start with LSD. Rent a fancy house with the slutting money and then do Extacy. When you are new it is hugely important to increase your happy to the maximum possible and then put as much energy as possible into they gym.

Well this update is a bit crappy for me. I guess I will eventually have to start paying for my housing instead of being a kept man. Can't really say it is unfair though.
As long as you log in regularly to use the extra energy a DP is totally worth it. Once you get to level 15 they won't be hard to afford. Slutting to pay for a DP would also leave you ahead. You could do three attacks per day and earn enough for donor status which adds more than the 75 E.

For now use LSD to get extra energy for the gym. When you can rent a PI do so and use Ex. Once you have gotten the merits for 50 of each then switch to Xanax and use all you can.
Busting used to be easier and it gave a lot more Crime Experience.
You should start with buying 100 items per day at bits and bobs then reselling. That only makes $50k-70k but it is easy and you don't have to wait for level 15.
