Ask and you shall receive. Okay, okay, I admit, it's fun.
King Ace, also known as Legend, always had poor stats and never provided real competition in that regard. He started approximately nine months before I did, and by the time I reached level 100 for the first time, he was only level 71 (3rd place).
The first real race to level 100 was between Supermikk and myself. I won that race, but Ched was unhappy that we reached level 100 so quickly, as he had promised a significant prize for the first player to do so. Because our levels were far higher than everyone else’s, we were gaining very little respect from attacks, so we ended up buying attacks on ourselves to progress. We asked if it was alright to do a bunch of attacks on people, and he said that was what he expected.
Once Ched reset our levels back to Legend’s level, I began the race to 100 again. Supermikk was so disgusted by what had happened, and by the loss of up to 100 billion dollars spent on attack purchases, that he had no interest in racing to 100 a second time.
Around that time, another up-and-comer emerged, Sifonjer. He exploited a poker bug and made over a trillion dollars overnight, abusing it, but he was never forced to return the money. He and I raced to level 100, and I reached it first, even reaching 102.
Ched then reset me back to level 100, and no one ever reached level 101, despite claims to the contrary. He immediately capped the maximum level at 100 and never delivered on the promised major prize, stating once again that he didn't think we would reach it so quickly. Ten years later, he gave a “nothing” prize to the first 100 players who reached level 100, an item with no value and no ability to be traded.
As for stats, I was the top player for nearly 20 years, having attained 305 trillion in stats by the time I reached 1000 days old, and nobody else even in the billions. Only a handful of players have surpassed me recently, and some of them don't have well-balanced stats. As I’ve said in other posts, I led the way for two decades. I’m fine taking a back seat now. But don't mistake silence for absence.
