What TornLife has verified
- To list an item, go to the Auction House in the City and choose an eligible item from a drop-down list. There is no starting bid and no reserve price. A listing cannot be cancelled or removed once placed and runs until expiry. Players may have a maximum of 5 listings at once. (documented; Auction House › To List an Item, )
- Listings are sorted into three tabs: Weapons, Armor, Items. Listed items show damage, accuracy, armor values, mods and bonuses. (confirmed by Torn; Auction House - Advanced weapons update, )
- The wiki says the game automatically bids for you up to the maximum price you set, to prevent bid sniping at the end. Each auction has a live timer and can end at any time of day. (documented; Auction House › To Bid on Items, )
- Patch of 17/09/19: the displayed current bid is $1 above the second highest bidder (instead of 1%), and new bids must be 1% over the current bid. (confirmed by Torn; Patch list #111 : 17/09/19 — changes to Auction House (2019-09-17), )
