- Travel to other countries unlocks at level 15 via the Travel agency in the City Center. Each destination sells items not found in Torn, with limited stock that restocks regularly. (documented; Travel › Laptop, )
- Staff ruled a mugged player who left abroad had no double hospital penalty: hospital time carried over to Torn and had to be served there before flying again. A player with the right job can fly back while hospitalized. (confirmed by Torn; Abroad hospital bug, )
- A hospitalized player abroad must wait out the hospital time or get a revive. Morphine cannot be used abroad, so an attacked player can be stuck there. Logistics Management 5* or above can travel back while hospitalized. (documented; Travel › Laptop, )
- A traveling player cannot be attacked. Players in the same country can attack each other. Arrival gives a 15 second grace period, added in patch #189 (April 2021). Inventory is inaccessible abroad. (documented; Travel › Laptop, )
