The Beastie Boys and De La Soul i have always had a soft spot for them. I think they are better than all of those on your list well from the music ive heard i have encountered most of those rappers. Public Enemy are good as well.

What about KRS1, Eric B and Rakim or Easy E? This list is a who's who of modern rap imo (why the f**k are Obie Trice, Cashis and J Cole on this list?) and while there are some amazingly talented artists here I would not vote for any one of them as the best rapper ever!

should add fliptrix, evidence, atmosphere, dirty dike, devlin, akala, pace won, kooly high, mos def, mac lethal, luke christopher, son of sam, the underachivers, ldz, common, and many more than i cbf listing
as somone said, its subjective, there is no "best"
also, eminem is overrated most people that think hes the best or a "rap god" are subconsciously racist, hes a good rapper, but there is so much better

ahh i love rap but i wish i didnt look at this thread again, i only listen to 3 people on that whole list, thats not to say i think the rest are bad at all, but theres way better haha
