Who prefers desktop computers for gaming and what are you running?

My pc has...

i7 3770k 3.5 ghz running at 4.5 ghz cpu
2 GTX 660 SC's SLI (further oc'd by me)
Win7 Pro 64 bit
8 GB ram
I believe it's a Z87 Gigabyte mobo
My PSU is 625 watts and the fan only comes on when I bootup my pc then never comes on again.

I can play anything on max graphics settings at 60+ FPS.

While streaming 3 different sporting events on my 2nd screen.

Console is way better than the PC, too many hackers. I've seen the hacks first hand, my friends have had the ability to see everyone on the map and headshot them way to easily.

hackers exist on console too so don't go bashing PC when online PC play is all about which server you play on.

I play on a few servers where hackers get dealt with easily and when I ran some gaming servers I had scripts that would rebind the hacker's key settings and would insta kick them based upon IP and MAC address every time they joined rather than banning them.

I have been a gamer for 30 years and never felt the need to get a console. From what i have seen of console games they arent as good as the pc game.

I can see what you mean. But the option to hack is so much easier on PC, I've never really noticed hacking on console. I never feel angry that I have been unfairly killed as I usually do well on console FPS games.

I get that you can spend more and get the latest state of the art system and run high frames per second and the best graphics out there, but against hackers all you are doing is making it look better when you get wasted by the hackers...

You are relying on admins to take care of the problem, but what if they are hacking themselves? It's just way to easy, I'm not sure if you will ever understand what I mean, you love your PCs too much. No offence.

I'm not sure what BF4 is like on PC, E.g if it is playing better than console? So I guess if that's the case you can have that as a positive.

I have a friend who has a high end PC and I must admit the games look amazing, they appear to be much better quality.

I had a guy on one of my servers as admin hack in a game and I promptly banned him while spreading the info and proof around that he isn't to be trusted getting him banned from roughly 50 of the most active servers. I also sent the info to all those on his friends list on steam and saw most of his in game friends thank me and they removed him and blocked him from sending messages.

So beleive me if an admin hacks he will get caught fairly quickly and ostracized by the gaming community far more than a normal hacker
