unsure if someone calculated that. It just does a lot more damange then regular hits.

It can't neglext dexterity. as for a critical you need to hit your opponent.
Dexterity is just that stat that makes you avoir being hit in the first place.

Cuz I've heard someone said doesn't matter how high the enemy's dex is, if we are dealing critical hit, then the hit rate will always be 100%

You mean only avoid being hit on the first attack?

Completely false. Critical hits always ignore dexterity.

Sorry to bump an old thread.

Do critical hits ignore defense?

Didn't initially see this was an old thread, was bumped up by the guy above... but sorry, Greg is right.

Critical hits don't ignore dexterity, and @ above they don't ignore defence either... you can be crit hit for 0 damage...

Lucky hits ignore dexterity and can strike any part. These occur roughly 1/11 hits and never on the first hit.

A critical hit can either be lucky or not. Assuming that all critical hits end up hitting is false... because you're only seeing the ones that do hit...

Ched has stated that lucky hits can never be on the first hit, however we can see that critical hits CAN be on the first hit (and are therefore not 'lucky' in the sense that the code describes)

In either case, for the guy above, the attack system is changing any time soon so anything here is obsolete soon.

How petty, thought you were better than that. Didn't realise you were someone who downvoted regardless of content.
