They've assigned strengths to the armor now. They might not take effect yet but at least you can see how much protection each item will give you.

All new armor released is not repopulating for some reason. I spent about 48 hrs trying to score some so I can cash in on there current markup. Seems the people who check forums most frequently got the heads up 1st and bought it all up or maybe some staff had a heads up. Players should be selling the armor that was available because eventually the prices will bottom out when better armor is released.

The armor actually only costs between 2-3m. Players are taking advantage of the rarity and marking it up themselves. Did ched know this would happen? probably but he is not the one setting the ridiculously high prices. He is however probably responsible for them only being available only once and not repopulating so, he is causing the price to stay that high. Not like it matters as the armor is useless until the new attacking system comes out and by then or shortly after more should be available and prices should drop. Why hang on to cheap basic armor instead of cashing in on the "hype" price? If I find any on my next trips, I'll be selling and make about 4X profit and it will still be a fraction of the 250m they want for it now and by the way lol at 250m each piece for basic armor.

It would be interesting to know if much of it is actually changing hands at the moment - how many people are gonna be feeling silly when their flashy new billion dollar armour is trading for peanuts?

Good luck to anyone who was quick enough to take advantage of it though, I'd be trying to make an easy fortune too if I were one of the first.

I could of played hard ball with the 20 pieces of armour i had but decided i would sell for a modest cost of 300k each.. bit sad that some of the people who purchased are now trying/have flogged for many millions but that is their prerogative i suppose. :)

The armour is rare right nowbut will only decrease inrarity in time, eventually losing most valueas better armours are released. Goodluck in your search people.

the combat armour cost 4mil or less in africa its just mark up prices

Dont worry, the new armor will get around the markets, soon enough, give it a year or two, and 10- 100 times the price, not the 10000 times the price as it is now. lack of planning, i think.

Check the auction house, I was pretty quick adding them boots asap :D at 33mill right now only paid 2mill each
