I was stuck at Heaviest one, George Gym for nearly a year. Why I couldn't unlock the Special Gym?
Though I have lot more experiences to unlock the higher level gyms.
Please answer for it.

I was stuck at Heaviest one, George Gym for nearly a year. Why I couldn't unlock the Special Gym?

Specialist gyms are unlocked by having specialist stat builds, not from progress. They tend to only train 1 or 2 stats when those stats are at a significantly higher percentage compared to the rest of your stats. There is also a 'drug free' gym, a gym with higher gains on all stats that requires a drug free lifestyle to keep it open, this was intended to slightly make up for the overall massively lower stats that users will have from being drug free.
Progress only unlocks up to the final gym in heavy.

But, the special gyms are stats based. If you have balanced stats, you're not likely to have any of the special gyms open to you.
