Jail Fail?

I know there is a thread about busting costing 5 nerve, this is not related to bust costs whatsoever. But do you think the new busting system is a little over the top? Personally I have only been to jail one time since this update. But it was for trying to bust someone out (the only person I've tried to bust) and I was put in jail for 24 hours, in which I spend almost the entire time in jail since you must be 200 minutes or less to self bust and no one could bust me out, several failed. So if you are a regular buster, you can plan to spend all your time in the pokey. It seems to me busting is way too risky and you must be extra careful not to fail any crimes as well because once you're in, your chances of getting out soon is quite low. Your thoughts on this?

Just dont bust people in for long times, I havent been to jail once and did probably 4-6busts yesterday . It is for sure excessive currently but Im sure that can be changed pretty fast if it proves not to work. I dont see them changing it quite yet, kind of need a proper time to test it and a few hours isnt really enough of a sample

Nah I reckon it means they are fine tuning it on the fly, eventually they should find a happy medium.

I agree the jail update was a fail and apparently so did Ched since it's empty again.

I have a law degree and almost 1700 busts and I couldn't bust anyone over 3 hours in jail. Spent over 12 hour before buying myself out. Swung the pendulum way too far on that update.

I think it needs a little tweak.
Yesterday the jail was full of people trying to bust people out and they where in for 24 hours. I think now people have worked out the 24 hour busts are 'impossible' so they have stopped even trying to bust people in there for a long time.
The difficulty of busting needs to be tweaked down a little bit.
It is either that or a nerd has bought everyone out of jail and it will soon fill up again.

I personally think busting should be harder but time in jail should be drastically reduced. People should be in jail 10-15m, heck even upwards of an hour or two, but 24 hours? Thats excessive

There should be an initial period of say the first 10% of the jail time where you cant be busted or bailed. That would provide a reasonable deterrent to attempting risky busts, and provide a penalty to those who are caught committing crimes.

I am guessing they tweaked it to be harder while I was sleeping. Jail is full.

Well busting needed to be smurfed as it was way to easy but 24 hour jail times with bail fee's over a billion is way to excessive. Reminds me of the old days when you actually had to spend time in jail and in the hosp.

some keep buying people out and emptying the jail so they can play again. i,ve done my very last ever bust in this system as im not going to spend a full day with nothing to do. Its a pity i liked busting but the other option would be to leave as you cant do much in jail anyway.
I do like what they tried to achieve with the update i just don't get who thought 12-24 hours was a good idea. Most people play games for fun and a challenge is part of that, waiting an entire day in jail with only a train tab to fill is far from fun and even with philanthropists bailing out for now money however abundant for now soon becomes finite as does good will.

I have notice that busting people out has gotten much harder. I actually thought something was wrong with the game. In the past I would wait a few minutes to see if someone would bust me out, if that didn't happen I would pay the bust fine which was always between $32,000 and at the most $100,000. But now it is $500,000 to over $700,000. Again, I am thinking somethings wrong. Until I see this post and I'm not alone.
I done care if you may it harder to bust, but the time spend in jail and the fee could be smaller.
I log on 3 to 4 times a day, that won't happen anymore if I know I am sitting in jail for a day. I think I made my last bust in TC.
