before this, my max nerve is 20. after i logged on (which is today), it decreases to 15. what actually happened?

You probably got a red (jail) on a crime stick with the good xp crimes.
so, what i have to do to increase my nerve bar?
Do your best to not get RED, which reduces your crime exp, and causes you to lose nerve from your maximum nerve bar. You will need to gain more crime exp by getting GREEN, which in turn will raise your nerve bar back up to 20 and so on after that.
