Ok

1. This happens quite a lot about 3x per day.

2. It only happens on Torn.

3. I have 50mbit FTTC, 50mbps down and 11mbps up.

4. It is totally random so I can't replicate it.

5. It is a server (or one of the servers in between me and torn ie a "hop") issue not a hardware/software issue.

Basically I will be playing torn then halfway through the gym or shopping etc Firefox will act like the Torn server is missing, and gets stuck on "waiting for" when it either times out completely for a few minutes or 30 seconds later comes back and starts working.

Having same problem

Keep saying

504 Gateway Time-out

The server didn't respond in time.

Messing up the faction attacking log, It double up below for no reason.

We monitor for 504s, they are not common. Having a non-zero number of these sadly is a inevitable part of the way TORN works. As you have noticed, these problems resolve themselves quickly with a refresh.

While this isnt ideal, this isnt something that can be fixed without totally rewriting torn - so closing the bug...
