We should just give out 100 trillion? That's the kind of number we'd have to give out to be in-line with the odds. If someone is inconceivably lucky, it trashes the economy - ruining Torn forever. I don't think that's …

I submitted a bug report on this exact topic. They said the odds were set accordingly. Being one of the top winners over all, check this out:

I think you may be looking at statistics with 20 balls or something.
We have actually had just two people who have won 7 matches. These two bet $100k which resulted in a win of 500m.
Selecting 10 unique numbers, with the computer also selecting 10 unique numbers, and then comparing them. I wrote a little script to check, and this is after 1,000,000 games. Bearing in mind currently, only 473k games have been played with 10 numbers selected.

If you think a casino game is rigged, just check the statistics... It's very easy to see what people have won and lost.

Yeah but considering its rarity as shown on the statistics from Ched there shouldn't be a cap on it. It is afterall the golden carrot which drives people to bet. Before I challenged them on the high low max winnings the cap on that was 2.1b, since then I've won amounts greater than this figure 4-5 times yet the overall statistics shows a loss.

We'll add some limited card counting and perhaps allow some rules which casinos usually don't allow to try and get the money win/loss ratio to 98 - 100%.

Fair enough, but I dont think the winnings should be the same if you do manage to get 9 or 10 correct, maybe just double the pot to 20b and 40b if you get 9/10 correct. There should definitely be a new award for that, and if your not going to increase the max winnings past 10b, maybe there is some other way of compensating people through a rare item you get when you "break the casino", perhaps something which gives you unlimited casino tokens for future use? Thus giving torn the best chance of recouping that paid out cash!

Would be cool if there where more places to send money back into the system to counter such wins if it ever happened.
Things like new upgrades for houses. A new house above the PI that would be available to everyone maybe? Just a thought.
