So basically as usual everything is the users fault? Just like the attack last year was the users fault and all the ranting caused by the repeated failures on behalf of staff.

When are the staff members going to get the last lesson in customer service? You already have the "Have you tried clearing your cache?" Part.

Torn doesnt use ads let alone pop up ads so it is a issue with the OP's computer having possible adware installed in which case he needs to get combofix and figure out what type of adware he has so as to find the right way to remove it.

As for that DDoS attack you're referring to that can happen to any website even some of the most well known like government websites, youtube, facebook, google, etc. Basically these attacks can hit regardless of what countermeasures are in place and are in no part something you can blame on the staff as most of the staff simply manage forums and rule breakers.

I am not blaming staff for the attacks or anything I am just trying to point at that on this site as it is with some others with a a small staff base the user is usually the first person to be blamed, when the attacks were happening a ton of people piled onto IRC to discuss the problem and as usual staff just said they were dealing with the issue and a ton of people were banned for trolling.

I just think staff need better communication and taught how to properly deal with users, at the end of the day Torn is a business and staff have a responsibility to be professional and mature.

It's not an issue that is Torn specific. It's most likely you have some sort of malware on your computer. Get yourself an antivirus.

you can't really fire someone that works for free, you can only ask them to leave ... just saying ...
for the sake of staying on topic .... it is obviously a user problem and not torn , clean up your machine on a regular basis or ... stop looking at porn

And if you do want to keep looking at porn, staying to the big and well known sites does lead to a higher degree of safety than the little virus bait ones.

check your browerer add on`s ,sometimes when updating certain programmes ,free browswer add on`s , are in stalled which can cause problems similar to this

As with women, when looking at porn be safe and use protection :) if not you may be infected :(
