Networth...

So I have searched and read everything on the forums about gaining networth. Everyone says buying flamethrowers and selling them to Big Al's is the best and quickest way.
So I have been for the last week and a half or so. About 3.2 billion worth (at big Al's price not what I paid for them) and am still stuck at the 500 mil mark. Has something changed? Is it a percentage of what you put in? Ched catch on and change it like with properties?
Any feed back would be much appreciated.

No - only way to keep track from that point by counting the number of flamers you've sold yourself.
