How do I know which ammo to buy for each particular gun?
It doesn't say what type of bullet is required under the gun info bit, and it doesn't say what guns the ammo is for in the ammo locker.

How do I know which ammo to buy for each particular gun?
It doesn't say what type of bullet is required under the gun info bit, and it doesn't say what guns the ammo is for in the ammo locker.
the ammo is in bold type for any guns you have equipped
When you get to the Ammo Locker is lists all types of ammo. If you click on the name of the ammunition it displays a drop down box displaying all the guns which require that ammunition.
I think the ammo and gun type should be listed under the gun info.
Rather than create a new thread, I'll post a follow up question here: Does anyone know what the differences between ammo are, statwise? Dmg-wise?
I think this would make sense also.

Not yet as the new ammo is not able to be used yet.
The bolted ammo's name is the type the gun, you're equipped with, would use. Ammo type doesn't seem to be available, yet. I'm sure "Armor Piercing" is pretty self-explanatory.
