Mugging is pretty fun admittedly, it's nice to pick up some extra cash now and again especially after a good working over of an enemy or some innocent stander-by.
How about though, when the person who is being mugged has a Negative amount in the "cash on hand" dept ( ie: just got tagged for my house upgrades, sitting at $ -350,000) the "mugger" gets nailed for some of their cash instead? Is possible? Interested?
I believe this was occurring with the old system early into Torn 2.0 and if I remember correctly it was fixed after some people were mugging millions into the negatives due to a bug. The fix was that if you have less than $0 the mugger gets an empty wallet instead of your debt. Not sure if it carried over into the new attacking system but I am almost positive this was not overlooked by the coders again. []
What about if u attack someone and u lose, u yourself randomly either get hospitalized, mugged or just left dying on the ground. If u can mug someone when u attack them they should be able to mug you back.
These are all some great ideas. Mugging negative money, and opening their wallet and accidentally stealing their credit card debt, classic it happens all the time in real life. And attacking someone to mug them but then you yourself get mugged if you lose. Once again I agree -- someone tried to mug me once in real life with a knife but i had a gun and i took their wallet instead.
We should also be able to equip cars as temporary weapons so that we can do drive-by's. (a 100% chance to stealth the attack, and a 100% chance no one hits you because it's a sneak attack out of no where -- 100% chance to win the fight)
Yeah I remember that one bounty_hunt, forgot that it got exploited. Just thought it'd be nice if someone tried mugging me and they lost some cash, nothing serious.. like 1/10 % on their current cash on hand, for a failed mug. Always someone looking for free cash, LOL []
