I can only assume you've taken 5 or more Xanax since your last rehab ?

Some things about the new system are as plain as the egg on your face. Rehab often, don't attack over your head and keep serotonin equipped. Oh and accept the fact that its not like the old days when the attacker wins relatively even fights 95% of the time.

There are several threads with the same subject, so thanks for making a new one.

I agree with you. It is far too common for you to lose to someone with half your stats. I guess I agree that someone with half your stats should have the possibility of beating you, but that possibility should be 1 in 10, whereas it seems like it is 1 in 3. Even when you beat someone with half your stats, it seems like they get one or two hits in on you, so the days of knocking out 20 hits in a chain in a row seem to be over since your life will get chipped away until you are hosped.

It is frustrating but it is Ched's game and he has chosen this path. Different always seems worse at first. We are all going to have to get used to losing a lot more. Forget those kill streak merits if you don't have them already.

why not?

i have always been able to beat people with well over twice my stats sometimes even more.

equipment, regular rehab, clever merit spending, good use of temporary weapons, clever stat training.

all these can be used to swing the fight the fight in your favour sometimes massively in your favour.

bad decisions can swing things massively against you as well. i was a defence whore for the first few years. that was a catastrophically bad thing for me to do :P

At least it revived reviving. After the turning on/off toggle of revives, and the muggers not being able to see the amount mugged in attack logs revives were ridiculous to sell. Overall this is a change for the good, helps out the revivers, and I think it's good that all stats are is putting the favor of the fight in the direction of the player with the better stats. It's a fair system now to where players won't feel so bad about being 'behind' all the older players in stats.

It does get frustrating that you need a revive pretty much each time you die if you're in war since a level 20 with no stats can kill you when you attack them but overall it's a good change for the game that as you said will take time to get used to.
