Was just thinking about this yesterday...its a PITA when people fly or sit overseas and a OC is ready and waiting. Might be really helpful with organizing the cruise OC.

What would happen when counter goes to zero? I am bit confused about that part.
Maybe have the icon red while its planning then green when the counter goes to zero and its done planning.
I think an event would be a more appropriate along with the icon. I think icon should remain visible reading "ready" until the OC is initiated.
Yep that sounds good, as long as it tunes faction members in so you dont have to tie them down to initiate the oc. Most faction members don't even have a reason to visit the oc tab.
or you can just go look at the oc itself 2 clicks, isnt that darn hard
Its not the complexity of it, like i said most members don't have a reason to click on the faction crimes tab. Applying your perspective there's no reason for any of the icon timers because a couple of clicks and that information is accessible somewhere else also.
Like the idea of having an icon, would be beneficial and members wouldn't have an excuse for missing there OC ;)
I think an icon would be useful, wouldn't take up too much space, and would give information that might otherwise be missed. A colour code (red over 6 hours, amber under 6 hours, green once available) would be very handy, too.
good idea maybe it can even change colors depending on how much left like the booster cooldown
