80% of profiles that I come across still have old BB code so I wanted to take some time and write up a guide on how to fix it. This guide will give you the basics on the new editor which is the same for forum posts and emails.
Goal: Take a profile full of old BB code and convert it to the new method to get your images and hyperlinks back.
Example Profile that hasn't been updated yet (Thanks Stormcast)

Steps:
- Select all of the text in your profile, copy/paste it into notepad (or any text editor), and save it as a backup so you dont lose anything
- Click on Settings -> Profile Signature
- Click on the A icon in the top right corner (This opens the editing tool bar - See screenshot below
- Click on the button with 4 arrows right below Format to expand to full screen
- Delete all of the existing text
- One by one convert all of your images and hyperlinks to the new format (instructions below)
- Replace any text you had by typing or copy/pasting from your backup
- When done: Click on the button with 4 arrows again to exit full screen
- Click Change Details to commit changes

Converting / Posting Images:
- Identify the image links in your BB code Starts with and ends with
- Cut out the URL between those old tags

[list=1][*]Click on the Insert button on the toolbar[/*][*]Select Insert Image and the Edit Image box pops up[/*][*]Paste the image URL into the Source field[/*][*]OPTIONAL: Give it a description or dimensions (I leave those blank)[/*][*]Click OK[/*][*]The image appears on the page just like how it will be displayed[/*][*]If you want to re-size your image just click on the corner and drag it (Very nice feature!)[/*][*]Repeat for all images[/*][/list]

NOTE: Leave images left aligned and they will auto center for you when displayed
Converting /Posting Hyperlinks:
- Identify the Hyperlinks in your BB code Starts with Text to display
- Cut out the URL hyperlink from the beginning URL tag
Cut out: http://www.torn.com/factions.php?step=profile&ID=89
- Click on the Insert button on the toolbar
- Select Insert Link and the Insert Link box pops up
- Paste the hyperlink into the URL box at the top
- Put the text to be highlighted in the Text to display box
- OPTIONAL: Set the Target (I leave it as None)
- Click OK

RESULT: Apply Here
- The Hyperlink text will be underlined
- Repeat for all Hyperlinks
The new system took me a bit of getting used to, but it's way better than BB code once you get the hang of it. Now you can see exactly what your profile, forum posts, or emails will look like before you hit send.
