What is the max driver skill? Also is there any point to continue racing after you get the A class merit?

What is the max driver skill? Also is there any point to continue racing after you get the A class merit?
There is the win merit.. Right now I have a maxed out Class A car and still rarely win, let alone place in Class A races. Not sure on skill cap.
If there is a skill cap, no one has reached it yet. People are now closing in on 40 driver skill, so if there is a cap, it likely won't be hit for a while.
There's got to be a cap at 100 at least.

40 driver skill.. no wonder I rarely place in Class A races with a fully upgraded car.
You need a few fully upgraded cars, which are upgraded to specialize in different tracks, in order to be truly competitive in Class A.
Since RESPO the matching is a little better as far as matching people with equal skill/points, but there will usually be someone with a maxed car specifically for that track.
So how do you know what car to choose when going into an official race? I never see which track until I have already joined the race.
After you have joined a race (and can see which track you will be using) you can switch cars.
Gotcha, didn't know that you could change cars after joining.
Yup. Click the "Change Car" button next to the car car that you already selected on the main screen and it will bring up your enlisted cars. Then it the "Change Car" next to the car that you want to use; same thing for the confirmation.
