I have built many cars, but unless i keep my spreadsheets with me i kinda forget which car is best for which race.
My suggestion is to add a text box/field where players can put a small description beside the list of "Your Cars".
So beside you NSX you might have something like 'use for Hammerhead'.
The note field would also allow mobile users to select the correct car without having to right shit down.
Like it or hate it; just my thoughts.
