Does mugging need to be reduced?

Cooling down only works if your money don't increase a lot.

So, the trick of being mugged just before selling some expensive items doesn't make your money safe.

You can buy shares whilst traveling can you not? Isn't that a safe way of hiding money while you are travelling and someone has purchased something from you? I've used that before.

but if i buy shares, i lose my capital. then i cannot do anything or do less when i return. besides, the shares avaliable there will not be good for resale. and it'll take time to resell.

Sometimes you need to be in torn or out of hosp to adjust prices if you're trying to sell competitively...so travelling isnt really an option O.O, trading relatively safely under this system for people with not so great stats is easier said than done..

$21,506,913 + $1,237,970 = 22.7m

i think the base percentages are a bit off... $10: 20.7% and $1,000,000,000: 2.28% ? so basically, this system is "protecting" people who carry loads of cash in hand although we ALL know that having huge amounts with us is risky. the exception is, of course, people who just sold items in bazaar and have no where (or no time) to protect their money.

i agree that this system totally screwed revivers and traders. and im not a mugger, but i dont know if in long term this sytem will be beneficial or not for muggers. if someone mugs, lets say 50m, in this system, they will probably get 0$ after some time, even tho the target still has some money with it.
in the old system, a mugger would get 40/45m in the first mug but in the following attacks, it would still get some millions (no?) beating the initial 50m from this currently system

in my case, i just ask my spouse to hospitalize me when i have some items for sale in my bazaar :p

Read previous pages.. I sold 2.5k points previously.. Sold 515 xanax on top of the 490.. Money from private island is used to buy/sell while I rent one. Profits are usually good. Now with this new attack system, it's a shit hole.

Deposited a total of nearly 1b caymans. 2b tc. So.. that's a shit ton. The loss is great.

Even for the 22m. Lets say I bought each xanax at 880k each and sold at 895k each.. losing 22m is way over the amount of profit I ever gained..

lol.. Look at all these high ass levels trying so hard now.. Already stopped selling and closed bazaar after such losses.. There's literally no point.


Judging by the attack times vs buy times.. you have roughly 4 - 5 seconds to hide all your money or else you're screwed.. That means you gotta refresh every second or so and pray that you notice it.

Someone like me has no chance against a level 71, 75, 85, etc.. All in all, the high levels only benefit. Anyone looking to trade with low stats or without refreshing every split second is doomed.

I'm not complaining.. I'm just saying it's pretty BS.. well.. one of the bs parts of the game.. but it is part of the game now so we deal with it for now.

I am just working towards top 20 for hits so I couldn't care less if I get 0 wallets lol

Here's an idea thats going to change your life, dont sell 490 xanax at once if you dont want to be mugged

I still think bazaar sales should be paid out in cashiers cheques this will make it even for traders

then people would just abuse it to store money by getting there friends to buy there items and sending it back, apart from finding a inactive with money on him, buying n mugging the only way to mug really, so having cashier cheques would kill of mugging as casino HOF been removed and revive mugs are no use as coz when u mug someone u cant get 100% for about 12 hours later and so many people like torn coz of mugging, after all its a crime game

I still manage to get mugged... buying points the other day and I was stupid enough to leave 62m on me while I sent someone a message before banking it and whoever I was buying points off (I'm assuming anyway) got me for 6m or so... It's all apart of the game. Like Bullzeye said... It's a crime game.

Since the changes to Mugging making meaning that you get a lot more for your mug theses days especially on the 1st mug. is has become a lot less safe to sell thing with out the fear of being attacked and mugged. There are strategies that you can employ if you wish to avoid this. Sell in small quantities. Have a safe place to put it, Volt or faction or company. Have it ready so that you can deposit it at a moments notice such as having a tab open with it. Sure you can fly but as you found out they can be waiting for you. In this case employ a little savie. look in your events at whom brought it from you? If when you are close to landing you see they are already in the country or on route there fly straight back with out stopping and do your best deposit it. Or whilst in the are buy some stocks, so the money is already gone and when you sell them the money goes to the bank for a little bit.

There are a lot of nerds playing this game unfortunately its just something you have to get used to.

1 spotty faced boy bought 10 dps from my bazaar and had to get 3 of his 'friends'/ multies to attack me before i was weak enough for him to mug me.

Nerds will be nerds and there are a LOT of them playing this game. Many many hundreds of them :P
