unfortunately on-board graphic like the one you have can only go so far.
You can go to the following website to check but most likely the game you would like to play won't run smoothly or won't run at all

Are you into Strategy games?
Action and Strategy are my favorite types of games.
Well the first issue you've done here is you've paid for a pre-build instead of looking for a custom build.
they also have the specs which are similar to an above avrg laptop of today, possible upgrading may be something to consider
as for games, I'm going to guess you use steam - you can find games based on peoples opinion on their along with a selected genre but if you like RTS then totalwar series is a personal favourite. Another think to keep note of is humblebund which give very cheap games on steam, perhaps something you should look into
Well as Mat-Senpai[952164] said already a good Strategy game you could try is "Total wars" series but to let you know the best one Total wars : Shogun 2 has a inter Core Enhancement on the disk (and maybe the steam downloadable one too) so that and the rest off them before it should work fine at normal settings(except total wars : Rome 1 it don't like windows 8 in battle mode).
If your looking for something free in the mean time try the first two "Rebuild" series and if you like it the third one you can buy on steam.

where can i download games
Download Steam, the must have digital game store for any PC gamer, also get skyrim.
Even if your not into Action Adventure RPG's there are over a million mods to mold
it into the game you want it to be. Also Civilization V/Beyond Earth, Civilization is the
best strategy game available. This War of Mine is also an amazing new strategy
game.
Age of Empires
Never played it, is it somewhat like stronghold?
They are really similar, IMO. Searched RTS Games on google and it pops out a list of them. []
I don't do PC gaming, but Zoo tycoon was amazing when i was younger. XD
payday may be a good game for you!
its action and strategy and if u want you can make it an rpg
get cs:go
that is all you will need
best fps game of all time :P
My list in no particular order.
Payday 2: horde mode while you rob a bank! killing cops is fun right?
CS:GO: EXTREMELY competitive FPS but don't let that scare you off I've got 1500 hours into it.
Elite Dangerous: Space Sim with well fleshed out combat and more features on the way.
Insurgancy: A blend of ARMA like realism CS arcadyness, great fps.
Age of Empires 2 HD Edition: Great RTS grew up on it doesn't mean it's out of date.
Skyrim: like skyrim on console? now try skyrim with mods!
Sleeping Dogs: Like GTA set in Hong Kong really good combat
Torchlight 2: Diablo clone made by the creators of diablo. Who doesn't love dungeon crawling!
Portal 2: FPS puzzle game great story just remember that the cake is indeed a lie.
Hotline Miami: Do you enjoy hurting people? Really good indie game.
Left for dead 2: horde mode with those boring old zombies.
Dirt 3: RALLY CARS WHOO!
