I have been trying now for 3 days to purchase donator packs through the Torn payment options...I do not have paypal and see where there is a NON PAYPAL payment option to pay with your debit card or credit card...after more than several attempts to pay with my debit card i decided to go purchase a pre paid visa card...i activated it and loaded it with cash and i can also not pay for my donator packs using this card....I go to google wallet and open an account with them...i give them my card info and bank account info...everything is verified and authorized to use...Low and behold torn wont accept this method of payment either...All the info provided is correct and there are more than enough funds to cover my purchase..Why cant i purchase using any of 3 methods????
Ive spoken to Clansdancer who asked me if it was a prepaid card...i said no as it wasnt at the time....i was told to open a paypal account which i shouldnt have to do to purchase donator packs...Now im being ignored trying to resolve this issue.
"The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number."....this was from a newly purchased prepaid visa debit card with 100 US dollars on it...Again i tried the non paypal debit payment option...correct email..correct address..correct card number, correct expiration date, correct security number and correct personal name...there is no reason it shouldnt allow me a purchase. :/
if clansy told you to open a paypal account, why have you not done so? i think that a paypal account is the easiest and safest way to donate.
The new federal laws for opening a paypal account now requires one to show a picture id sent via email with the address which you are opening you account with....my drivers license is a texas license and i now currently live in west virginia...paypal will not allow me to open an account with them...So i chose other payment option which torn is offering to pay with...none of which will allow me to pay..as stated above ive tried a prepaid visa card..ive opened a google wallet account as well and none of them work for me either..so i dont know know what the issue really is but its been very frustrating...if paypal is the only method of payment then torn will not be receiving my business as i cant open an account with them...i have 100 us dollars on a prepaid Visa card and i apparently can use it here.

I don't have any idea you will need to use Google and Paypal and if you struggle with using those accounts you would need to speak to them as to why.
We don't have any other options to purchase DP's.
Having had similar problems with donating, I can explain some of it. Short version, the credit card companies(Visa, Mastercard, ect), due to large amounts of fraud, effectively block international orders. Period. I've tried calling my bank to get around this, and they can't do anything on their end. Calling Mastercard was equally worthless, as they either said to call my bank(who can't help me) or just flat refused to help.
Sad to say, your options are 1: Mug inactive players and buy DP's on the market, or 2: Get an updated DL and open a paypal account.
Paypal can link directly to a banking account, no debit or credit card required, so any restrictions that may be in place by credit companies is moot.
Are prepaid cards not accepted for purchasing donator packs?
It depends on the prepaid card provider and the payment method you're trying to use. I'd contact the prepaid card provider to see if it can be used online and through PayPal. If they say it can, then email payments@torn.com for help.
