My suggesstion is...
Would be nice to have something in place for jail options...
of balance and reduce jail time of extreme cost of buyouts, yet
still removing game funds as needed maybe by more users more often.
rather than hoping someone can do a bust soon so you can play again or your caught
without much funds on hand and have no friends or online players to help a player out
at time needed.
example: Jail times over 10 hours or higher and costs exceeding 3 million or more
Gives options to players to try to help themselves to keep playing.
keeping currant options as well.
Does not effect other options such as jail break yourself
Does not effect Education course bonuses as obviously you can only use one bonus
or option at a time.
Player chooses Option 1
Bribe a guard to reduce jail time with a fee of 500,000.
Guard steps into warden's office while he's out and tampers with your file.
Possible result examples:
1. Your time is reduced to ? time left in jail.
Guard says see you again soon, Do bring your wallet...
2. Guard gets caught and is fired 0 change in your jail time.
Oh well we tried he states, sorry no refunds.
3. A quick slip of a pen by a witty guard and
oh look we over looked your realise time sorry, your free to go!
4. Appeal was over turned, you must wait 30 mins to try again the Judge is
very busy you know!
Player chooses option 2
Have your lawyer appeal your jail sentence with a fee of 400,000
Your lawyer gains a quick meeting with a Judge,
siteing the case had an unfair sentence and should be re-determined.
Possible result examples:
1. You have your lawyer enter an appeal of not guilty do to insanity.
The judge agrees states you should be in a hospital not here.
You are transfered to hospital with ? time to be observed and treated.
2. On appeal, The Judge determines your lawyer to be a Shyster reports your Lawyer
to the bar.
but does feel you were unfairly sentenced.
He reduces your sentence time to?
3. On appeal your lawyer proves there was not enough suffient evidence
to warrant your arrest in the first place.
Judge comments: Warning,I had better not see you in my court room again!
The case is thrown out your free to go.
4. Appeal was over turned, you must wait 30 mins to try again the Judge is
very busy you know!
Player chooses Option 3
You kick your lawyer to the curb and decide to handle your own appeal.
it is far less costly in your mind. You pay a fee of 300,000.
Possible result examples:
1. In your appeal the Judge determines from information given,
you have a fatal illness and should serve time out in hospital rather than jail.
Careful... Nurses are not pretty here and the doctors are Quacks.
You are transfered to a guarded medical facility in hospital,
with no change in time to serve there.
2. On appeal you claim your going to rehab and promise never to do it again,
you've learned your lesson.
The Judge is a sucker for someone trying to rehabilitate and help themselves.
Ok everyone makes mistakes but your trying, so i'll give you a break this one time!
your sentence is reduced by ?
3. On appeal you were able to prove they caught the wrong guy,
evidence you were able to obtain has proven you are innocent.
You are hereby released, all charges are dropped and your free to go.
4. Appeal was over turned, you must wait 30 mins to try again the Judge is
