Trade Cancel

I believe if you have a trade set, and someone cancels the trade to mug you which is happening quite a bit now, surely it should go into a cashiers cheque as well.

If you meet someone from craigslist to sell a cell phone and they pull out the cash to buy it, but then change their mind, does the money disappear and they need to go to the bank to get it back?

no not at all, but torn isn't based on real life now is it.
either way with your theory is more based on sending cash and an item rather then an actual trade, trading in this game represents paypal or a bank

Some bits on torn are realistic they try to give it a realistic feeling sometimes

Sounds good in theory but wont stop the moaning in practice - the very next thing that will get suggested is extending the time funds will remain in "escrow" waiting for the player to collect them when a trade is cancelled (ie. why not 24 hours like all other cashier's checks?).

you can't stop idiots from moaning.
