Maybe.... once every while TORN devs should wipe out all of one item such as "morphine" to make the game more interesting.
They should give people a warning like "All Morphine will be wiped out from your inventories in x x days"... so you have a chance to try and sell them.
This would make TORN a lot more like a real city in which there are "shortages"....
Also, this would mean that the price of morphine would go up for a bit so all the people in the "Medical" jobs could actually make a lot more money. Working in the starter "Medical" for a long amount of time would pay up so much then...
Why does a starter job need to start making as much or more than high paying company jobs, which is where we would probably end up at if all meds in the game were wiped?
What do you suggest for boosting the income from the other starter jobs, as it would be unfair to give the medical starter job a massive boost and leave the other starter jobs out in the cold?
How much should company job remuneration then be increased by, because surely company jobs should always sit on a rung above starter jobs in terms of potential employee income or benefits?
It would be one thing for new morphine supplies to dry out for a month or so ( no morphines from job , box of med supplies , city or pharmacy) and another for all morphines to be wiped out
you are not supposed to drink the bong water
stupid idea, maybe you can have the famine while we live normally haha, then you would see how bad it is!
The basis of the idea that sometimes some things are not available could be interesting. But the whole reason behind your idea just makes it fall flat. Removing things from peoples inventory just like that would cause an outrage.
I thought you were going to suggest something like a strike amongst the brick makers and no new ones would be available for a week or something like that. And have random things like that happen every once in a while. Although the limit of how many items are restocked at a time kind of already does something like that. But to add something like I am talking about every once in a while could be interesting.
Taking away peoples items and taking all of them would just not be fair. Some one with 5,000 or more morphines should just lose them all? that would just be a bad move.
