I know this is a newb question, but does dexterity increase your chance of evading a attack by being able to run away or evading a individual attack in a fight?(AKA is it running away or not getting hit during the fight)

Dexterity increases the chance of 'not' getting hit in a fight.
If opponents strength is greater, it won't work well.
In an attack when an opponent tries to attack you, if he hits you will be based on his speed in comparison to your dexterity.
If you have low dexterity and he has high speed he will have a high chance to hit you
if you have high dextrity and he has low speed he will have a low chance of hitting you!
you have the same chance to run away from an attack as you do to dodge a hit, so having a high dex will help you run away also!
Strength?, surely you mean speed...
thanks guys:)
