#1 Really like this one. just not sold on the outer effects...looks a bit dark and distracting.

#2 maybe it is my eyesight but it almost has a 3d effect, feels like it is popping out of the canvas a tad.

#3 No idea what is going on xD

Thanks for comments
the first one is surrounded by simple c4ds as the original bg was horrid
The second one is because the centered is sharper than the outside, good effect or not ?
The last, well yeah...
IIIlusionist [253384]

a good effect []

p.s sorry my comments are not very technical, but hopefully a view from someone who doesn't notice the hardness of the brush you used can be useful in some way []

Any and all comments are welcome purely because we all have different perceptions

No need to go technical, as long as you have put the main thing across, i will try to do right by it

I really like number 1. I think you went a little to strong on the topaz though. Looks like a topaz anyway. xD

i have not cnc-ed in a while so hopefully this useful

i think moving on, perhaps try not adding any gradient maps if it turns out so monotonous .. i know creating sigs without adjustment layers is hard since all the tiny mistakes can not be hidden but its doable .. give it a go and see how your sigs turn out

as for number 1
the biggest problem i see with this signature is a lack of lighting
it could do with a light source since the lighting on the render is so evident
secondly .. a centralised focal in this case does not work at all .. it looks very weird and out of place .. the size of the render is proportional to the size of the tag but the placement is not .. i would suggest following that rule of thirds or whatever it is called
thirdly the motion blur sort of effect on the left side does not really work in my opinion .. i think a still background but darkened would have worked much much better
and again a monotony is a big problem

signature 2
i still can not find out what the focal is .. is this supposed to be an abstract? i would suggest to bring out the focal more (if it is not an abstract) .. it is far too blended in
i do see an arm (i think?) and it seems to be going in the top left to bottom right direction .. i think if you emphasized that particular flow it would have made the signature so much better .. perhaps look into some effect c4d packs or some textures
the lighting in this case.. though its there it looks very artificial .. looks very "blotchy" on its top borders .. perhaps a smudge tool ti smoothen out the edges :/

signature 3
am i the only one or does the lighting and the shadows do not match at all? O.o it looks so out of place (if i am wrong then please ignore this comment)

i dont know why the 3d effect is so popular in torn .. i personally find it very tacky and a "quick" fix to blend everything in .. this is a personal opinion though and i am not sure if others feel the same way

please do play with the dodge/burn tool for all the tags as they need some serious lighting to bring out the effect

Jheez, thanks for the CnC buddy

I will definitely take this into consideration
Not just the, oh yeah i will, i actually will ahah.

As for the lighting on nuber 3, i am totally agreeing with you, i spent an hour on that bottom right shadow, i wanted to make it the same gradient as the tiger one, but it molds round and at the time it didnt make sense. I have a version where the shadow is in lie with the tiger, to an extent which might look better to you....

@the rest of you, thanks for all your comments
