Allright, i've read what i could find but i couldn't find the answer to the following question, which i assume should be a basic info that must be included somewhere.

In companies, we have a Recommended stat. But in wiki and tcbasic, all efficiency calculations are made compared to stat cap. So what is stat cap?

I'd assume recommended stats are the stats an employee will work at 100% efficiency. But when i downloaded the efficiency calculater in tcbasic (which might be wrong oc), for 2k MAN, 4k END, stat cap being 4k and END being primary, MAN being secondary, i got 113% efficiency. For the same numbers but MAN being primary stat, i got 100% efficiency.

Efficiency goes up to 150%.
Until 100% efficiency is reached (that is below stat cap), the primary counts full and secondary stat counts half.
Above 100% efficiency, the primary stat above the stat cap counts half and the secondary stats above the stat cap counts a quarter. So after 100% efficiency you need 2 times the stats for the same efficiency gain.

Thx for info but i read that directly. This is not what i asked for. I asked how stat cap is calculated. Is it the same as the higher of the recommended stats, or what?

ty!

so, if for ex, a position requires 5 INT and 10 END, stat cap will be 10 + 5/2 = 12.5k, right.

Then efficiency will be calculated based on total stats. So someone who has 25k INT but 0 (yes, none) END will still be at 100% efficient.

The above determination of the efficiency was somehow confusing for me. How can someone have 0 primary stat but be 100% effective!

Yes, thats correct, if the secondary stat is high enough. But consider another position for an employee so that their highest stat is the primary stat (Payment cost efficiency).
