C & C: While the information gathered here is great you present the user with a Huge wall of Text. (a problem I struggle with also when doing my own guide) Try Working on spacing and Formatting as very few people actually read beyond first paragraph. Remember some people also use torn mobile. What makes something like http://tcbasic.com/crimes handy is because the formatting on it is quite good.

You can embed googledocs into forums so look into that for an easier way to format text,pics,tables,ect. They are quite powerful. For example take a look at hanks, or mine.

Another way to accomplish this is by putting a summary at the very top of your guide that looks something close to this: (Mini Guide)

15-20 NNB: Pickpocket Someone
  • Pickpocket the Kid
  • Pickpocket Old Woman
  • Pickpocket a Businessman
Work on trimming each section down to something like this above so people can get to the important points of your guide with as little words as possible.

Great post. I have a comment on Assassinations

Again, I am going to leave these to the very end of all my crime merits, as they will just ruin my CE."

The Mob Boss puts you in hosp, not jail as far as I know? I haven't experienced it, just read it somewhere else in the forums. Some people get the 40 NB and 45NB by doing these (also forums..)

Another side note on Computer crimes and Theft:

I have about 70-75 % success ratio on this crime now, with +10 % CE from law, and +18 % from merits spent. I also have a few % from faction (tier 2? can't remember). So you'll spend less nerve than 18k nerve, if you have similar stats (~14k).

Doing 4N Theft crimes will unlock 2 merits for every 2.5k done, up to 10k Thefts, so imho it's better to stick to Theft than Computer crimes at 25 NNB. I got my 30 NNB doing only 4N Theft (jackets) - it's 99,9 % sucess ratio, so you'll unlock more merits this way.

Computer crimes gives 1 merit upon reaching 500, and 2 merits on 1000. Maybe worth getting it to 1000 but I think you'd be better off just doing Arson and go back to 1000 Computer crimes when NNB is topped up.

And at last, just to make a bad example of myself: I'm doing 1k Computer crimes now @ 30 NNB, just because I FORGOT to get a driver's licence. Get the licence while your NNB is 25! :-)

I'm sure it's the wrong way to get drug crime merits. But as it's a guide to NB not the merits, it's okay. However OP mentioned merits im the last chapters so i needed to drop a sidenote.

If someone starts doing drug merits when the NB is 30, he will not only get more green results but also be able to take the NB to 35. It will not be go above 35 and will not drop down, too. It's not the fastest way to get a 45 NB, but as doing 1000 drug crimes gives you 3 merits, i can say that it's the fastest merit awarding crime (remember, i'm saying this for the first 1k only)

That's really interesting keroo - so you think you get more greens on the drug crimes while you're around 30-35 NNB? This would be great to test if someone could do this!

i read boogie's guide, i asked him questions. also i asked a lot of people what percent they were getting greens while doing drug crimes (i wanted to calculate which crime would get me merits faster).

although i was young and had low intel, i was getting 85% greens in the easier drug crime (i don't remember which one) - that time we had a great script logging all crimes. I had an enchanter and some merits in crime, but 85% was still higher than people told me. so i concluded that it's easier.

Hey Trickydick, ALL crimes contribute to net worth. For Steal a Car, you should sell the cars back to the game at the Docks in the City for Networth. I might add this into my guide, but it's not a net worth guide =)
