Yep it's awesome as if 100 members wasn't already too many, you have A LOT of factions with 200 to 300 or more. I'd say it's safe to assume 90% of the warring player base are in top factions and their sub factions

I sure hope not. And I say this not only cause I am not in a super-faction. I say this cause what exactly does it prove by sending the power from faction to faction? That you can chain under different names?

I don't know that much about the new territories but from what I seen in the past players always figure out ways to take advantage of the system with the newer systems providing players the most leverage ;-)

Alliances are one thing-- different groups sometimes working together and other times stabbing each other in the back makes for great gameplay. It gets more than a bit boring when 90% of your major opponents come from just a few groups. You can't just war Calculated (sorry to pick on ya'll) anymore, for instance; you have to deal with some mixture of their 250+ members. Torn isn't a game where those sorts of numbers really make sense, imo.

This is why I like more independent factions: ELF when they were around, TH, LS, even JFA (most of the time), MtM, etc. For some of us, our faction is part of our identity and our mildly select group of friends and anatagonists. I can't see how that's preserved in a mob of 250 people.

Geesh so many butt hurt cry babies over an online game. Anyways didn't read all the pages of comments but after reading the first few glad to see ELF still gets brought up...

I think this is pretty funny considering the types of wars and tactics used in the past by the respective groups.

I think we should settle this battle with a limbo contest - How low can you go?
