why would someone want to buy bricks from me for $500 each when they can buy them from Bobs for $5? What am I missing???

why would someone want to buy bricks from me for $500 each when they can buy them from Bobs for $5? What am I missing???
Collectors. Some people have millions of bricks. And you can only buy 100 a day from bobs.
There is a merit for trashing 5k items. That means any low value items are generally worth at least $500 to people who want to trash them.
People are too lazy to spend 50 days in a row buying 100 items for $10 out of bits and bobs. The money is so meaningless compared to the time effort.
