My weapon experience seems to have stopped increasing on my primary and secondary weapons, being that bar under your weapons available after you complete Bachelor of Military Arts and Science. I thought it increased based on critical hits. Can anyone confirm that it is a based on critical hits and if it takes more than 1 critical hit to progress it 1% as your % increases. Thanks

It is based on how many hits you have done, not necessarily on critical hits. Also it takes much longer to progress at higher percentages.
Ok thanks, perhaps critical hits increase it more than other hits, as that is where i have seen the biggest increases. cheers
Yep, apparently a pillow will level just as quick as any other weapon...so that would back up that damage is either not a factor or plays a very little role.
Quicker from my experience, i used it for stalemates against another player with only a pillow equipped. Scored a lot of critical hits and hits in battles that went on forever.
Wait, guys, how can u tell how much experience u have with a weapon? Is there some kind of exp bar I'm not aware of?

lol sorry I wasn't being very aware of the obvious. But thx for answering, in a way
If you do not have the weapons experience bar, do equipped weapons actually still accumulate experience from attacks?!
No, they do not unfortunately.
If an experienced weapon is sold, does the weapon retain the weapons bar experience gained by the player?! This could increase the actual real value of a weapon.
You can sell a weapon that you have experience with, but it doesn't mean the weapon has any experience, just the user of that weapon is experienced with it.
Thank you, will create suggestion thread for 1) Weapons retaining experience and player history w/wo weapons experience bar, this could significantly increase the value of weapons items at trade, or auction, and 2) Melee.Primary and Secondary weapons retaining their player history or pedigree. eg Would you not want a weapon used by Bodybagger in 100 level battles or a Signature James Bond Beretta used in over 10,000 attacks , similar to notches on guns in the wild west as the owners history or pedigree is important to actual value .
I don't see how that would be a good suggestions. That's like suggesting that a sword that is used is somehow better than a brand new one. It's the user that makes a weapon effective in combat, not the weapon itself. A weapon is an object, not capable of learning.
Respectfully disagree, weapons properly used are broken in correctly and perform more reliably then new untested weapons. In addition, the true value of a weapon (gun, sword, armour etc) owned by the real Jimmy James or famous samurai warrior is increased significantly at private sale or auction, will create the suggestion and thank you again for your game knowledge.
That's because you used it for more attacks. You gain experience for using the weapon, so getting in a fight and hitting until you stalemate should increase the exp significantly faster than getting into a fight and one shot critting someone.

Weapons owned by a famous person are more valuable because they were owned by a famous person, not because they were better quality. Those pieces generally get put on display as a sign of wealth, not power.
Actually it is both (owner/quality) and more, famous owner with quality of documentation , events item was actually used in, time frame item was created, actual condition of the weapon/ armour. Hoorah
