Hello people, in order to create a dirty bomb, you need to buy a lab, which costs 200mil, and then all of the Cesium137 required. I have a few questions about this. 1. Do you need a certain amount of respect to use/develop a dirty bomb? (i think i remember that you needed 10k respect for something.)
2. Which education course/s has to be completed in order to work on a dirty bomb? (computer science, biology, ect.)
3. How many people are required to help develop a dirty bomb (I think it was 10?)
4. And what's a reasonable price to pay for Cesium137??

check the market prices atm for suitable prices. These vary weekly, so you can't set a fixed price on it. took me months to buy 100 cesium . started off with 150m per, it ended up being 165m at the end. So better check what the current prices are on the market to know what it's currently at. (or trade forums)

(if so does the 10k respect get used up on purchase? or is it only a pre-requisite?) or does it only need to have accumulated 10k respect in the factions' life time? in order to purchase the lab.

yes, the faction will need have the required 10k respect. It's not total respect gained, the faction just needs 10k or more which at that point, the option to build the lab will be there. Only the cash is used in the process, and once bought you can drop under the 10k respect.
Other reminders: Get some neurume tablets. Over the course of building, random members will fall ill of radiation poisoning (unless they have hazmat equipped) + members of the faction won't be able to travel during building process, so make sure drug users have rehabbed before you start the process.
Those 20 members need to be active too, but that's easy enough to do. You'll find no shortage of people wanting to join for the merit for being in a fac building a DB
Thanks guys, i think that's all the info i need :) except i still don't understand the 10k respect thing, from what i understand, you need to have 10k respect at the time that you purchase the lab. if you don't, then you shouldn't have the option? my faction at the moment has 1,653 respect, yet i still have the option.
It's you must have a faction that has obtained 10k respect at some point in the past. I don't think you literally need 10k respect when you buy the laboratory.
Also, since it hasn't been said yet, when building a bomb, you can't fly. Everyone must be on their way back to torn when the build starts, and you have a chance of getting radiation poisoning. A Neumune tablet can get you out of the hospital in the case of radiation poisoning.
If we refer to what greg said, then why do i have the option to buy a lab though? i should need 10k respect to have the option to buy one. I have the option, yet i only have 1.6k respect I don't understand haha
It's like faction special upgrades, you only need to reach 10k respect once to 'unlock' the feature. Your faction must have already passed 10k at one point.
I think the real Question about the lab is whether you are actually able to buy the lab, i have the option to take morphine even when i'm not in hospital, but it doesn't mean i can take the morphine.
If you can, then i'd assume that your faction has acquired at least 10k respect overall, even if it has been spent on upgrades (Currently flying so can't see your faction upgrades).
hmm you have a point there, i did think of that, but i figured that they'd have it disabled or something until you reached the requirements, ya know, so they don't your hopes up before you buy it or something such as that. I'm pretty sure we've gained over 10k respect all up though, but i cant be sure :P
I don't believe you need 10k respect for the lab. I bought this upgrade for my faction, which is a brand new faction. We had just over 1k respect at the time.
