    This should be a reason most likely. This status "... took you down" will be removed only when you will check the log, until then it will not allow you to make any moves. Looks like you somehow was able …

    Fix to prevent loosing energy in such cases will be added and pushed today, thanks.

While i was chaining, i decided to attack krm34 [1614358]. while i was attacking her, Belial81 [1584499] simultaneously initiated an attack with me [view].
I then got this message-
BELIAL81 TOOK YOU DOWN, PREVENTING YOU FROM WINNING CURRENT FIGHT.
so i then waited a few minutes, then morphed out of hospital to continue chaining. when i initiated my next attack on someone, it came up with the same message-

I thought this was weird, considering i had just morphed out only seconds ago. so i went to my home page to see if he had indeed attacked me again, and found out I was not in hospital. but 25 energy had been used,
i figured that Torn must have gliched, and decided to continue chaining.
my next target was crazyboy123. when i initiated the attack, i once again received the message-
BELIAL81 TOOK YOU DOWN, PREVENTING YOU FROM WINNING CURRENT FIGHT.

i went to my home page, i was not in hospital, yet another 25 energy was used.
after wasting 50 energy, i looked at the "Latest Attacks" tab on my home page.
the attacks did not even register. according to this, i was not attacked, and i did not attack.

i don't particularly enjoy wasting energy, so i don't plan on attacking until i know this wont happen again.

yes i believe so.
I just attacked crazyboy123 again, just to double check. and my attacking is back to normal.. so yeh... problems gone, i dont know what happened, but I can attack normal again now :)

One more question - have you pressed the "continue" button right after the first fight was finished (to see the log)?

ah no, i don't think so. when i lose a fight, i'm not too interested in how i lost, so i usually just click the 'Torn' icon in the top left corner.

This should be a reason most likely. This status "... took you down" will be removed only when you will check the log, until then it will not allow you to make any moves. Looks like you somehow was able to start the fight without removing the status, so you was not able to hit. Actually, you should not see the "start fight" button in this case, so this is a bit strange.

ok that makes sense, Thank you :)
I'm pretty sure it did appear, although I can't be 100% sure that the "Start Button" appeared. so perhaps it didn't?
