Is there any point in having 10 stars on my awareness? I haven't found anything in the city since 2012.

Moving to questions.
As mentioned previously, the city system has changed. You no longer find items via an event. You have to search the city map. To make it easier fully zoom in and start from one corner of the map and work your way up, move 3 arrows across, work your way down and repeat.
Personally I'd spend the merits on something else but it totally depends on your play style and what you want to do... If you like searching the map keep them there.
Its hard to do when you use a phone >.<
i have 10 awareness and the education and i find like 2 items a day mostly crap tho
Thanks, i do use my phone most of the time, i use the quick links on the city because the map is un-usable on my phone. The updates make everything a nightmare!
