Alright so it's safe to say that in my years of playing torn and making graphics (Restarter) that the Forum is in its worst state yet.
It is literally dead and it was once thriving where you would struggle to keep your thread on the first page.
The Graphics forum has definitely been hit hardest by the reduction in players.
A major factor for the Forum getting f**ked up is the new forums and the poxy 600x100 forum tag...
How can we revive it?
-Petition to extend forum tag by atleast 50px in height
-Host a massive auction like Graphics aid and advertise the shit out of it?
I don't know guys but a few of us together could make a decent impact!
Drop some ideas!
Will leave my thoughts out of it. I have tried time and time again to revive this forum. However when people fail to see you have a real life they immediately call you a hypocrite and etc.

Hmmm.
1. Petition won't work, Ched made it clear he won't change his mind. But not trying isn't gonna change a thing either.
2. Massive auction. Maybe. Many of tried stuff. Competitions, SOTW, mass auctions ... Problem is is not Ched, nor the forums but a bunch of wankers in here (just a few players) always complaining, not accepting new taggers on their turf, thinking they invented sigmaking and demotivating everybody that doesn't play by their rules.
So, if you wanna revive gfx, try to change that first, im(humble)o.
To be honest, it's better lately but that hasn't been seen yet by the rest of Torn (not GFX). Try talking in GD or in IRC about this subforum and you'll see what they think of us. So, we have a forum, a part to display and sell our work but the public doesn't want to visit or be associated with GFX.

i disagree with a few bits, first of all yes graphics is still at a bad point but its not its worst state, a few months back it was worse than this, weve had an influx (although still small) of new people.
also the change in forum size has not had any effect on the forum, in fact it caused a sudden increase in people coming to graphics needing new signatures.
And I'm sure that's what you'd do..

im up to help with Graphics Aid again ^^
I've never seen gfx aid, and I wanna so i'll give it a go.
Also I already discovered a technique to make forum sigs bigger by just putting two halves of a cropped image (bigger than 600x100) and put em on top of each other in forum sig, don't know if it still works, but me, Haze and carol used it for a while. :)
Also I have a feeling zomb is on vacation so we are good to go xD

Just a little thing all the known old SIG makers message them to join almost as a small gfx aid. And as always reserve the right for people to submit a tag anonymously :D.
One other thing to do is to advertise not only on forums but to advertise personals as well with a link to the thread.also every artist who participates in the graphics forum should have a hyperlink with text under their text saying something along the lines of "Great auction pieces up for grabs...".
