Why on Earth can you access everything in the Newspaper except properties? You can even access jobs so it doesn't make sense that you can't access properties.

Sorry, when you are traveling.
I think jobs was missed by everyone that tested RESPO, file a bug report. Either properties will get unblocked or jobs will get blocked.
You can see a list of jobs, but if you click on anything you can't see the company details.
You also can't see the item market so why should you see the properties market?
I'm all for increasing the capability of the laptop, but as for your questions it's consistent with the other markets.
But if you can view jobs you are able to research and contact the director, so why shouldn't you be able to do this with properties? Even if you aren't allowed to rent or buy one researching would make traveling a time where players can get things done which they wouldn't probably do while in Torn.
