Also, it's not only about the flights. Nothing really interesting to do abroad, there's only "Hunting" in Africa, and Switz for the rehab and that's about it. Would be interesting if they add some activity that you can do in every country.
Ugh it is sooooo boring. I like the idea of more activities abroad but it increases your chances of being mugged or hosped there. Planes these days offer wifi at a cost - i'd happily pay for plane wifi on torn so that i could have access to more things on my laptop whilst flying.
i totally agree on how boring it is and would love some sort of access to the casino through the laptop, but i don't think ched is gonna do anything about it. why should he make something so profitable more rewarding than it already is.
and Dudley, you make some money, but you lose out on other things like energy and nerve, you sometimes get stuck there for ages when hosped, and there are ways to make money without travelling.
Put it this way, if the casino was able to be accessible through the laptop then everyone would just use it to hide money away making it safe to travel.
If you want to do something while travelling, learn stocks :P
Flower running has trade offs and being limited on what you can do is one of them. I R+ every suggestion on asking for things like poker on the laptop, but in reality they are most likely not going to get implemented.
My biggest tip for "Flying is Boring" is to work your RL around it. Only flower run during times you won't be at your PC or more importantly shouldn't be at your PC. Flying really helps on work days when I have deadlines and need to minimize those tempting Torn distractions.
Things to do: - Faction Chat - Post in forums and I'm NOT talking about the lame flower thread (TravelRun is much more efficient) - Interact with people in real life
But then you would get mugged the second you arrive because you are playing with a fortune and then there will be the inevitable "Omg I got mugged while purposefully carrying 2b, pls halp chad" and chad will happily oblige by federal jailing the muggers and torn will be a better place.
