Earlier, I played another MMORPG, Travian. I would like to introduce one of its features into torn, that is the sitters feature.
I don't know whether this had been suggested earlier or not, but let me know if it has.

For Example:-
I have chosen tonystark as my sitter. Let my password = 123 and his password = abc (these passwords are not real).
When I login
username ppsingh
password 123
then i have full access to my account but as i have set him as sitter, when tonystark logs into my account,
username ppsingh
password abc
then he will have limited access to my account. i can control what he can do and what not. in the same way, if he has also set me as sitter, then i can log in with his username but my password.
username tonystark
password 123
now i will have limited access to his account. he can control what i can do and what not.

Sitters
When a player is going to be away for an extended amount of time, or if the player is not active and does not have any duals, the player will usually organize a sitter. A sitter can access a player's account with their own password and make changes such as upgrading resource fields, upgrading buildings, launching raids and sending reinforcements etc.
How to sit for someone
To sit for someone else they need to add you as their sitter as described in "How do I add a Sitter?" When they have done this you will be told that you are a sitter for their account on the "Sitter" tab in your preferences. You will also be told what rights you have as a sitter for that account, and you may remove yourself as a sitter. Note that you may only sit for two other players at a time.
When you are added as a sitter for another account you may login to it by logging out of your account and then logging in with their user name but your password. You will be granted access as if you had typed their password (so they do not need to and should not share their password with you).
How do I add a sitter?
The role of the sitter is to log into your account whilst you are unavailable to look after it for you and to respond to any issues that may have come up. As a result of this they have the ability to change most things within your account, so you should only choose sitters that you absolutely trust. Please also note that a sitter cannot keep logging in permanently once you have stopped logging in, so you should not use it as a method to transfer ownership of the account.You may add a sitter on the "Sitter" tab of your preferences.
Please note that you may only have a maximum of two sitters at any one time. You may also allow or deny sitters to do certain things.
Restrictions
A sitter does not have the ability to access any special privileges. They cannot change the player's alliance or remove the player from an alliance, but they may join an alliance. The sitter does not have the ability to change the player's profile, so they cannot change village names. The owner of the account can also check off options to limit sitter activities on the account(sending resources to villages not owned by the player, sending reinforcements,sending raids , and buying and spending gold.)
Rules
According to Travian game rules a sitter may not be the sole tender of an account for more than 2 weeks continuously. It is unknown if this rule has been enforced, however it has been know for sitters to be the sole tender of an account for more than a month continuously despite the rule. There may be up to two sitters on any account. No sitter should log into the sittee's account with the official account password otherwise both players are guilty of the violation of the multi account rule.
What a sitter is not
There is some confusion as the the difference between a dual account and a sitter. A sitter is an officially recognized position under a player's profile options. A dual account is a rules-compliant but unrecognized position by the Travian software. A dual account is a single account shared between 2 or more players that share the same login information. Dual account players must only have one account per server between them or they are in violation of the multi account rule.
